Is this the best ghost footage ever caught?

Did the crew of the TV show Ghost Stalkers catch the best ever footage of a ghost at the Taylor Memorial Hospital?

Now this might be old news to some people but I have only discovered this show.  With living in the UK I had only stumbled upon Ghost Stalkers after trying to find out why Nick Groff had been missing from Ghost Adventures. It turns out he quit last year and created his own ghost tv show and name it Ghost Stalkers.

I’ve only managed to watch a couple of the episodes so far but don’t know what to make of yet.  I’ve started to become a bit skeptical when new paranormal shows appear on TV.  From the early days of Most Haunted, to the present day Ghost Adventures, these shows have always started off with good intentions and are quite believable at first but as the shows become more popular they become less believable and seem to more staged or set up.

So with this new show Ghost Stalkers which is created and produced by Nick Groff aka Nick from Ghost Adventures, he has many years experience hunting for ghosts on TV and knows what the viewers want to see, so this makes me a little skeptical about the whole thing.

It also doesn’t help that the main guy is Chad Lindberg who is an actor, probably best known for his roles as Jesse in The Fast and the Furious and Ash in Supernatural. This doesn’t fill me with a lot of confidence that everything that happens in the show is genuine.

Anyway they visited the Taylor Memorial Hospital in Georgia. It opened in 1937 and was the only medical centre south of Macon at the time.  Over 30 years ago it closed its doors for good and has remained empty and abandoned ever since.

During the investigation when Chad Lindberg was locked in the building alone, one of their static cameras caught the translucent figure walking across a hallway.

Jamie-Leigh Brown took a photo at St Thomas’s Hospital in Stockport while she was exploring the haunted hospital with a group of friends. Although she didn’t realise what she had captured at the time as her group were too spooked by hearing unexplained footsteps above them even though the building has no usable staircases.

Before it was a hospital, St Thomas’s Hospital was once a brutal Victorian workhouse called The Grubbler. It later became a hospital that treated thousands of psychiatric patients.

Jamie-Leigh and the group fled the building after hearing the footsteps and it was not until later on when she was looking through her photos that she discovered the spooky figure lurking in the background of the photo.

She said “It freaked me out. It’s standing in a lift shaft. It’s really creepy to think my friend was just heading towards that area where the ghost was”

Have Scientists Cracked the Secrets of the Paranormal?

Scientists reckon they have discovered the secrets of the paranormal….. Mould!

Researchers from Clarkson University in New York think they have discovered a possible link between supernatural encounters and the toxic effects of some types of mould spores when they are breathed in

They believe poor air quality may a be contributing factor to reports of paranormal encounters.

They found that many paranormal experiences are similar to the hallucinogenic effects of the spores which can cause significant mental or neurological symptoms.

“Hauntings are often reported in older-built structures that may also suffer poor air quality” said civil and environmental engineer Shane Rogers.

“Similarly, some people have reported depression, anxiety and other effects from exposure to biological pollutants in indoor air.”

So it looks like if you’re experiencing some kind of paranormal activity in your house all you need to do is to get out the old mould remover spray and get cleaning!

Ghost Spotted at the Galleries of Justice Museum

About one year ago Matty Bamford was at the Galleries of Justice Museum in Nottingham, England. He was visiting the Dr Massey exhibition about crime and punishment and took this photo while he was there.

It was only when he was recently flicking through his archives that he noticed the ghostly figure and sent the photo to museum staff.

Deputy marketing manager Faye Rollinson said: “I couldn’t see anything at first but I wasn’t looking in the right place.

“Matty sent it again with a circle around it and I could see a face.

“I was looking on my phone so I zoomed in and you can see what looks like an old person’s face with sunken eye sockets and grey hair.”

Its said that the museum receives around 10 photographs a year from visitors who believe they have seen a ghost.

Video of a Haunted Doll called Peggy… Watch At your Own Risk!

I came across an article in the Daily Mail today about a supposedly haunted doll that has been causing havoc with paranormal enthusiasts around the world, apparently causing one British woman to suffer a heart attack.

Jayne Harris a paranormal investigator said she has received an influx of messages from people suffering from chest pains, nausea and crippling headaches after viewing photos and videos of Peggy, who she believed to be possessed with an evil spirit.

Another Ghost spotted at Hampton Court Palace

So not so long ago the Grey Lady was said to have been caught on an iPhone camera at Hampton Court, now we have a ghost of a child caught on an iPhone camera in the stately home.

The photo was taken by a Sunday Express reporter during a sleepover last weekend to mark the Tudor buildings 500th anniversary

Nothing was out of the ordinary at the time he took the photo, he could only see the four mannequins in Georgian dress, but when he checked his iPhone later he noticed a strange mist hovering just above the floor.

When he looked closer he could make out a faint outline of a small child in an old-fashioned white nursery gown.

The spirits of children in Tudor dress are said to be among the many apparitions who wander the building at night while two youngsters who drowned in a lake are said to haunt the grounds.

The image was taken in the Queen’s Privy Chamber, where the Prince and Princess of Wales would receive courtiers in the absence of King George I.

James Fielding, the guy who took the photo said “I originally took the photo because I thought the mannequins and costumes looked creepy.

“As I looked at the image a little closer, though, I saw what appeared to be an outline of something near to one of the dresses, possibly a small child.

“It could of course be nothing more than the light reflecting off the shiny floorboards, but you never know.

“Hampton Court is one of those places where your mind can easily play tricks!”

This is the photo, you can just make out something, although very faint.  Maybe the ghosts of Hampton Court Palace like iPhone’s.

Woman Being Haunted By Her Dead Brother

Donna Ayres believes she is being terrorised by her dead brother and has caught evidence on her mobile phone camera.

The video shows a cup seemingly moving on its own and lights swinging in its own accord.

Apparently she has had to move house 5 times to escape the disturbances which she says are making her life hell.

She believes she is being haunted by her brother Paul who died in 2009.

Despite moving 5 times she has been unable to shake off the spirit.

Donna said. ” Ever since my brother died strange things have occurred in every house I’ve lived in, it’s been a living hell.

“Probably the worst time was when I was pinned to the bed, I’ll never forget it – it was very traumatic.

“I believe this is happening because death has always followed me, but I have strong suspicions the spirit could be my brother, who died when I was younger.

“We had a very troubled relationship, perhaps that’s why he’s come back to haunt me.”

“The paranormal activity first started in 2009 when I began to hear bangs at night, and then scratches appeared on the wall.

“Since these first encounters I’ve had nothing but rampant paranormal activity in every house I’ve lived in, I’m just at the end of my tether.

“I have even woke up with bruises some mornings, despite not being in contact with anyone.

“Once my guitar started playing on its own which I actually found very interesting, I know this makes me sounds stupid but it’s the truth.

Sefton Paranormal Investigators have said if the video footage is genuine then this type of paranormal phenomenon would be classified as a poltergeist – a supernatural being often blamed for physical disturbances such as loud bangs and objects being moved through the air by unseen forces.

Grey Lady Ghost Captured on Schoolgirls iPhone

A schoolgirl visiting Hampton Court believes she has captured the famous Grey Lady ghost in her photograph while she was taking photos of her cousin.

The spooky image shows what looks like a very tall woman with flowing dark hair and wearing a black gown.  But in the next image there is no sign of the person

The girls only realised what they had caught on camera when they were looking through their photos the next day.

Auroile Prince who is a photography expert studied the photo but she couldn’t find any signs that the image had been tampered with.

She said “You can pretty much manipulate anything if you’re good enough, but you’d have to be an expert to get an image like this”.

The Grey Lady of  Hampton Court is said to be that of Dame Sybil Penn who died in 1562 after contracting smallpox.

She was a servant to four Tudor monarchs and said to have nursed Queen Elizabeth I through smallpox before contracting it herself.

Sightings of her ghost supposedly began in 1829 when the church at the palace was rebuilt and her tomb was removed.

Soon after her tomb was removed, strange noises of someone working a spinning wheel were apparently heard through a wall at Hampton Court.  This led to the discovery of a previously unknown chamber which contained an antique spinning wheel.

Hampton Court is famous for its ghost sightings. King Henry VIII and his 5th wife Catherine Howard are also said to haunt the stately home.
