fake-ghost

So earlier today while browsing Facebook I spotted a video which someone had shared. The video was entitled ‘Most haunted house in ireland’.

The video is filmed on a phone and shows very strong poltergeist activity in a kitchen of a house, which I guess is located somewhere in Ireland.

I delved a little deeper to see who had originally posted the video and found it was posted today on a Facebook page of someone called Ashy Murphy from Blackrock, Cork, in Ireland. She also happens to be the creator of the video.

The status Ashy Murphy posted said: “Its getting worse i defo have to move house”  followed by her video.

This is the video

Now upon first watch you might think wow scary, or you might instantly shout FAKE!!

Ashy Murphy had also posted another video days earlier which in her status she said “Ye think he have problems I’m down in the middle of no where with this happening to me wtf”

This is the video

If you shouted FAKE to both videos then you would be right!

They are both a load of tosh and if people can’t see how fake they are then they need their eyes examined.

There are some comments on YouTube which think its real…Seriously!   But there are also a lot more who have spotted how fake these video’s are, the second one in particular.

Although looking at Ashy’s friends comments on her Facebook page it looks like she has convinced them.

First off the window is slightly ajar where fishing line or very fine wire can easily be fed through and someone can easily be outside tugging on the wire.

When the cupboard door slams open, on the window sill there is a bottle of something that looks like washing up liquid which wobbles as if something had snagged on it.

And then there is the fact that a wire can be seen around the 1:34 minute mark as they close the cupboard door.  Shown here, I took a screen shot and circled the wire.

Wire

Not only is this wire a big giveaway, look at the way the light is swinging around the 1:25 minute mark, the power cord from the ceiling bends and is blatantly being tugged towards the window.

Light

Then of cause you see someone at the door near the end of the video. Even the dog lying on the couch looks at the door, and would the dog be happily snoozing on that couch if all this poltergeist activity was actually going on.  Also whats with loud music in both videos!

Anyway it seems either Ashy Murphy is after some attention, looking to move house or maybe she is up to some scam but she needs to try harder.

The YouTube videos are getting quite a lot of views, well into the tens of thousands and also thousands of shares on facebook when I last looked, and I’m sure some newspaper might pick it up and post it on their site or on their own Facebook page, so I thought I would post this to show people its all crap, but you all probably instantly thought that anyway.

Definitely no ghosts to be seen here.  We need to out the fakers and find real paranormal activity.

I’ll not link the Facebook page on this post, though I doubt it will be very hard to find Ashy’s page if you feel the need to look.

A Most Haunted House

61vZ3ZMbIpL._SL1050_So I have just recently finished reading this kindle book, it didn’t take long, maybe a few hours over a few nights but I would recommend giving it a read if you’re looking for a true haunting story.

It was wrote about a young couple John and Sarah (not their real names) and their true accounts of when they lived in a very haunted house in Wales.

The book starts off about their life, then how they ended up buying the house, which when looking back at the time they had viewed the house, they should have known something was up judging by the behavior of the woman who own the house at the time.

Then it all starts to get crazy from morning after they had moved into their new home, as a door swings open just as they are waking up.

There are parts of the book which might not seem very believable, not to me anyway, like at one point during a time they had friends over to stay, they heard John shouting at an old woman downstairs and an old woman replying to him but when they went to investigate who he was talking to, he was fast asleep on the couch.

Anyway I would definitely recommend buying this for your kindle (if you do own a kindle) and reading it if you haven’t already done so.  It WILL give you the odd shiver now and again 🙂

Tennents-Vital

Did a ghost photobomb the picture taken of Sean Brady while he was at Tennent’s Vital on Saturday night?

The picture has been shared around social media with a lot of comments from people speculating whether or not the face near Sean’s shoulder could be a ghost.

The photo of him eating chips and gravy was taken by his wife Susanne. It wasn’t until Susanne uploaded it onto Facebook that someone spotted the strange floating head next to Sean’s shoulder.

Since Sean’s sister Gemma Mallon shared the photo onto her Facebook page it has been shared and commented on by hundreds of other people speculating as what it could be.

Gemma insists the picture has not been photoshopped are altered and was taken straight from her iPhone.

Here is the pic.  Ghost, photoshopped or maybe the work of an app?

Chair moving on its own maybe proof that house is haunted.

This is actually very local to me.

A man from Gateshead, UK, who wishes to remain anonymous, suspected that his house was haunted so he called in the local Gateshead Paranormal Society to investigate his home and it appears his suspicions have been confirmed.

During their investigation on Sunday evening, they might have just caught proof that the house is haunted.

They set up a static camera and started asking spirits to show themselves and then a chair is seen being moved or dragged away from the kitchen table without anyone near it or touching it.

Terry Johnson – the founder member of the Gateshead Paranormal Society told the local Newcastle Chronicle that “We were just gobsmacked when we saw it”.

Ghost-hunter-Terry-Johnson-from-Kenton

“We have never had anything like that before and we haven’t stopped talking about it since”.

“It’s the most compelling evidence we have got up to now on an investigation”.

The home owner also spoke to the Newcastle Chronicle and told them that he thought something strange was happening when his dog started behaving oddly.

He said “There were things happening we couldn’t explain, things like a sauce bottle being turned on its side for no reason.

“And our dog would sometimes just stand and look into space which he never did in the last house”

“That got the alarm bells ringing.”

The video doesn’t seem to have worried him too much though as he said he slept more soundly after the investigation was done.

He added “When I went to bed at first I thought I wouldn’t be able to sleep, but I don’t feel any different now.

“This has just confirmed what I thought all along, but it seems it’s a friendly ghost.

“I really wasn’t that surprised, I knew something wasn’t right.

“I have always believed in ghosts.”

Here is the video. I have watched it a few times and it looks genuine to me. Could those also be orbs flying around?

The Audubon House’s spooky doll has vanished

Audubon_House_980x350A doll which resides in Audubon House in Key West Florida, which was once the home of Captain Jack Geiger and his 12 children over 200 years ago has vanished.

The doll was said to be camera-shy as whenever someone tried to take a photo of the doll something always happened to prevented a photo being taken.

When visitors tried taking photos, they all experienced problems with their cameras. Pictures either didn’t come out at all, or black streaks appeared across the photo.

In one instance the back of a photographers camera suddenly flew open, exposing the film and destroying the image.

A photographer who was planning to shoot a series for the Discovery Channel was determined to disprove the story that the doll is camera-shy and tried taking pictures of the doll.

This photo is one of them. This is the last one to be taken off the doll and you can clearly see the black streak.

Being intrigued but this experience the director decided to shoot a story to tell the story of the doll.

In the morning when he was due to start filming, the Audubon House staff arrived at the house to find the doll had vanished.

No alarms had been triggered and nobody had been to the house. The doll has never been seen since!

The doll is thought to have belonged to a girl whose portrait still hangs in the house and has said to have moved some visitors to tears.

When a cholera epidemic swept through the town, many sick kids were brought to the nursery where they would spend their last living days in the oppressive room, locked away from town folk.  So many kids died there that the room itself took on a chilling aura of death.

The house was opened as a museum in 1960, at the same time the doll was placed in a toy pram in the corner of the recreated nursery.

Hundreds of visitors and passers-by are said to have witnessed apparitions of children crying, laughing and playing in the nursery. Captain Jack has also said to have been seen walking with his daughter Hannah in the gardens.

When a new elaborate security system was installed, the museum manager was constantly being called back to the house to investigate alarms being triggered by movement in the house. The activity would always be in the children’s room. Security staff also frequently reported seeing someone in the window but when they went to investigate there was never anyone there.

So could the doll simply vanish, or has it somehow got up of its own accord and escaped the house?

Is this a ghost of Tutbury Castle?

Tutbury

Tutbury Castle

Does this video footage show a figure of ‘The Keeper’ standing against a wall then moving across the room out of sight?

This is the claim of The Past Hunters, a paranormal investigation TV show on Sky TV.

Bex Palmer, who is the co-director of The Past Hunters along with her fiance Sean Reynolds are seen pointing out a shadowy figure standing against the wall while she is clinging to TV psychic medium Derek Acorah.

Tutbury Castle is said to be the site of several ghost sightings in the past.

The castle’s website states: “Wearing a full suit of armour, and behaving in a manner that might best be described as authoritative, this ghostly figure has been seen stepping out in John of Gaunt’s Gateway and bellowing “Get thee hence!”

“Although last sighted in daylight about four years ago, by a visitor who complained that an idiot of an actor had told him to “get over the fence”, recent increases in paranormal activity might suggest that another visit could be imminent.”

Ghost of soldier snapped in the ‘Ye Olde White Harte’ pub in Hull

Ye-Olde-White-HarteThe historic Ye Olde White Harte Pub in Hull is said to be haunted, so is this ghostly photo of an English Civil War soldier proof that it is haunted?

Mike Woolas who runs the pub is a self-confessed sceptic, but he believes that this grainy image shows an English Civil War cavalier earwigging on plans to snub King Charles I.

Ye-Olde-White-Harte-Ghost

He said “I am quite sceptical about this kind of thing but there are some things you can’t explain.”

The photo was taken by a customer at a clairvoyant night held at the pub.

It apparently shows a side profile of a man with long hair and a moustache which was the favoured look for cavaliers loyal to King Charles I in the 17th Century.

In 1642 the Ye Olde Harte was the meeting place between the governor of Hull, Sir John Hotham and the burghers, during which they agreed to refuse King Charles I entry in to the city.

This act of defiance which was hatched in the so-called Plotting Room on the first floor of the pub, was one of the incidents that sparked the Civil War.

Mike along with his wife Kerrie and daughter Jess have run the pub since 2009.  He said “This is a new one on us”

The person who took this photograph told us it looks like Guy Fawkes, but there is no connection with him and this pub.

“I think people get confused because of the link with plotting.”

He said: “In January, at about 11.30am, Jess ran out from behind the bar shouting ‘Dad, dad! Come and have a look at this’.

“There were six punters, all sat with open mouths, and a set of keys hanging from a hook behind the bar were swinging.

“I checked for a draught nothing. It was ice cold, as if we stood next to an air conditioning unit.

“The punters supped up and left in a hurry.”

Daughter Jess said that her son Bobby also experiences spooky goings on in the pub.

She said: “I went into his bedroom above the pub, and he said ‘Shut the door mummy, he can see me!’

“I asked who and he replied ‘the man’ there was no one there.”

Clairvoyant Netty, who hosted the pub’s event, said she thinks the photograph is a genuine ghost sighting, but luckily for punters he’s a friendly ghost.

She said: “There is 100% a presence at Ye Olde White Harte but it’s definitely a calming presence.”

The Ye Ole White Harte was built in the 1500’s.

So what do you think, a civil war soldier or just a trick of light?

Has Anne Boleyn been snapped on camera? Or her hand at least..

Hever Castle – Kent

An amateur photographer believes that he has taken a photo of the famous Anne Boleyn, King Henry VIII second wife.

Liam Archer took the photo at Hever Castle which was the home of a young Anne Boleyn. The castle later became occupied by King Henry’s fourth wife , Anne of Cleves, years after Anne Boleyn was beheaded.

Many ghost hunters believe that the spirit of Anne wanders the corridors of Hever Castle, so has Liam finally got proof with his photo?

anne-boleyn-hand-ghost-595776

The photo shows a ghostly shape which you could say resembles a hand pointing towards the fireplace, in the living room.

He said he was trying to take a picture of the grand fireplace but could not believe his eyes when he looked back at his photos.

He is now convinced that what he caught was the spirit of Anne Boleyn and says that she was trying to give him a message.

Liam said “In the prayer room there was a fog or a mist hovering around but I didn’t think much of it at the time.

“I felt like an unknown force was pulling me through the castle. I couldn’t see it but I could definitely feel it.

“I didn’t know what to make of it because I didn’t believe in ghosts at this point.

“It wasn’t until three months after that I realised what I had taken a picture of. I am confident this is her.

“I believe there is something important historically inside the fireplace she wants me to recover.”

I’m not convinced, it could be anything just by looking at the way the photo was taken.

I actually visited Hever Castle last year. I didn’t pick up on anything strange or happened to take any spooky photos, but I would recommend visiting if your ever in or around the London area. Its a good day out.

So here is the photo a little bit closer. As with most paranormal photographs it is blurred but it does look odd. What do you think?

Could this be a demon captured on a camera?

Posted in demon, ghosts, haunted, haunting, jamaica, news, paranormal, scary, spooky with tags , , , , , , , , on July 2, 2015 by Paranormal Globe

A teacher from London could have photographed an actual demon while he was visiting his parents house in Jamaica.

He said that he took a photo of a painting on a wall in his parents house which showed a scenic image of a waterfall, but when he looked at the photo he saw a demon instead.

He explained “There was a wall with a painting on it and I thought that I would take a picture”.

“I was looking at it and I thought what is that!’.

“Everybody in the house started screaming and running away”.

“I have never seen anything like this. It is disgusting and has given me headaches.

The guy is convinced it is a demon in the photo and also believes his parents home in Jamaica is haunted.

His parents reckon it is that of an elderly relative who was unhappy about being moved to a care home before she died.

The photo has spooked the guys parents so much that they have now moved out of their home and into rented accommodation.

This is the photo.  What do you think?  it’s quite freaky.

If that appeared on a photo I took I think I would be freaked out too.

The guy wishes to remain anonymous, which is too bad.  Call me cynical but it would have been nice to have seen his face so that we could compare his face with the demon in the photo 😉

Paranormal Ball of Light Caught on CCTV

Ball of light

Ball of light

In Zaporozhye, Southeast Ukraine, a weird ball of light or orb has been captured on a synagogues CCTV camera.

The ball of light was discovered by rabbi Michael Oishie who discovered it while looking through the footage. He then shared it on Facebook.

Some suggested explanations are that it’s a UFO, a ghost, ball lightning or an infrared light being beamed towards the camera.

Locals reported that the weather was good that night with no thunder or lightning storm events, so that could rule out the ball lightning.

I’m leaning towards a light being shone towards the camera, maybe someone with a laser pen standing just outside of shot pointing it towards the camera, but who knows, maybe it is something mysterious that can’t be explained and will remain a real mystery.

This is the CCTV footage, what do you think?
